The Anniversary of the Independence of Lebanon is a great opportunity to renew our nation’s dedication to the principles of liberty. On this occasion, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Mrs. Suzan Mouzi gave a reception at Museum of John Paul II Collection, attended by officials of the Polish Parliament, Senate, Government, representatives of Diplomatic Missions accredited in Warsaw and the Lebanese community.
Mrs. Mouzi spoke about the continuous struggle to preserve human dignity throughout history and reminded the Lebanese of the importance of contributing to the progress and prosperity of host countries and their homeland, the Land of Cedars, hoping for more flourishing relations between Lebanon and Poland.
After the speech, Ms. Rana Gabi, speaker of the event, introduced Al Amal Group who performed the Lebanese “Dabke” folk dance. With beautiful songs of Fayrouz, the national diva, in the background, guests were invited to savour Lebanese specialties prepared by the newly opened restaurant “Fenicja”.
